Bible stories before bed

Bedtime is one of the best discipleship opportunities parents have. The day is slowing down, hearts are soft, and a simple Bible story can become a lasting memory.

Pick a story and stick with it for a week. Repetition helps kids remember. Ask one question: 'What did this story teach us about God?' Then let them answer in their own words.

Let them see the Bible as a gift, not a chore. Use an age-appropriate translation, act out the characters, or draw a picture together. The goal is connection, not a lesson plan.

End with a short prayer. Thank God for what you read. Ask him to help you live it out tomorrow. Over time, those small bedtime moments become a foundation of faith that lasts a lifetime.
