What It Is
Giving Your Child Back to God.
Baby dedication is a moment for you, as parents, to publicly commit to raising your child to know and love Jesus — and to ask for God's blessing over their life. It's a beautiful picture of faith and family.
It's different from baptism. Baptism is a personal decision your child will make one day for themselves. Dedication is about the parents — your promise to lead, and our promise as a church to support you and pray for your family.
"I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord." — 1 Samuel 1:27–28

No. Dedication is a commitment by the parents to raise their child in faith. Baptism is a personal decision your child will one day make for themselves once they choose to follow Jesus.
There's no age limit — from newborns to older children. Most families dedicate during the first couple of years, but you're welcome anytime.
Not necessarily. Single parents, guardians, and grandparents are all warmly welcomed. We celebrate every family exactly as it is.
Absolutely — we encourage it! Invite the people who'll help you raise your child. It's a celebration meant to be shared.
