You don't have to grieve alone: finding hope through GriefShare

12/03/2026

Living Free GriefShare support group meeting at Stone Edge Church

Grief isn't something you "get over" — it's something you learn to walk through. Some days it feels manageable. Other days a song, a smell, or an empty chair at the table brings it all back with the same weight it had at the beginning.

If that's where you are right now, we want you to hear something plainly: you don't have to walk through it alone. GriefShare is a support group for people who have lost someone they love. It runs as a series of weekly sessions, and each one combines a short video from grief-recovery experts, honest group conversation, and a personal workbook you use through the week.

You will not be asked to perform, to be further along than you are, or to explain yourself. Most people arrive unsure whether they want to speak at all — and that's completely welcome. What almost everyone says afterwards is the same: it helped to be in a room with people who understood.

The group is open to anyone, whether or not you attend Stone Edge and whether your loss was last month or a decade ago. Childcare and materials are available, and you can join at any point in the series.

If you'd like to come, or you simply want to ask a question before deciding, get in touch through our connect card and someone from our care team will reach out personally.
