One of the most powerful things you can do as a parent is also one of the simplest: tell your kids what Jesus means to you. Not in a lecture, but in the normal moments of life.
Answer their questions without rushing. 'Who made the world?' 'Why do bad things happen?' 'How do I know Jesus is real?' These aren't obstacles to faith — they're the beginning of it. It's okay to say 'I'm still learning that too.'
Point out God in the ordinary. A sunset, a kind stranger, a forgiven mistake, a answered prayer. Kids learn that Jesus is part of real life when they see him show up in yours.
You are the primary influence in your child's faith. The church gets one or two hours a week; you get the rest. What you model will always speak louder than what you teach.
